Ninja Mom Comics

JT is a very bright, precocious seven-year-old boy. He is convinced that his mom has a hidden identity as a Ninja. Whenever his grandpa visits from Hawai’i, JT loves to hear the legendary stories of his mom’s ancestors learning martial arts from a mythical bird/man creature in the mountains of Japan’s Mia area. On one particular trip Grandpa Nakanokekahawaimeahukipo has given JT his treasured lime green, pink-spotted stuffed gecko toy. It’s cool to JT and not so cool to mom who suffers from extreme scoliodentosaurophobia—fear of lizards. It’s a lizard! JT has a vivid imagination and whenever he is alone with his toy lizard named Aloha, it appears to come to life and take on human characteristics to aid JT in his pursuit of catching his mom as her alter-ego in her Ninja Mom acts. The bird creature always seems to appear on the quest as some sort of mascot. That’s how JT knows he’s close. The gecko is naturally more interested in food and extremely fearful of birds, so the idea of being chased down and possibly eaten by a birdlike creature who trains Ninjas (namely her prize student, JT’s mom) is not Aloha’s idea of a good time.
